How Much Does Internet Marketing Cost?
That's sort of like asking how much does a building cost.
If I asked you that question you'd probably want to know what kind of building, what features I want, and what's my budget, at the very least.
Well, the same thing applies for Internet marketing.
Here are are some of the many variables:
- What are your goals?
- What is your timeline?
- How much time do you want to spend on this?
- How much money do you want to spend on this?
- How much do you want to learn to do yourself?
- How wide a net do you want to cast?
- How experienced are you with Facebook? With LinkedIn? With blogs? With wikis? With search engines?
- How far do you want to reach geographically?
- How experienced are any writers you have on staff?
- How much do you want us to do vs. do yourself?
- How much do you want to be able to tell what does and doesn't work? (Your answer here should be, "lots")
- How many different things do you want happening at once, and how many sequentially?
As you can see, trying to drill down a complex range of strategies into a simple number can be challenging.
To simplify this we recommend starting small. Sit down with us as we help you identify one thing that we can help you with. That might be helping you with an electronic newsletter, setting up an online news feature, establishing a Google campaign, search engine optimization, or one of many other options. Once you see what we can do in one area, you'll have better insight in how we can help you across the board.
We then recommend that you put us on a retainer plan, where we focus on a one or more strategies on an ongoing basis. You can then ramp up or ramp down as the business climate changes, as your revenue increases, or seasonally, or simply leave it at a set level. It's entirely your call.
You can also start right off with a retainer plan. As you can imagine, there are some steep price benefits to being on a retainer plan, but I'll be up front with you; retainer plans can run well into the hundreds or even thousands of dollars per month. On the other hand, they can also mean hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars in additional business for you.
